Five AI tricks that speed up marketing design (without making it look generic)
Use AI for the slow parts, keep a human in charge of taste.

AI can make a marketing team ten times faster at the boring parts of design and noticeably worse at the parts that make a brand feel like itself. The trick is knowing which is which.
1. Resize and adapt, do not redraw
Turning one approved layout into square, story and banner versions is exactly the kind of repetitive work AI handles well. Approve the master design first, then adapt it.
2. Generate variations, then curate
Ask for twenty headline treatments or background options, then pick two. The value is in the choosing. A designer’s eye is what stops the result from looking like everyone else’s.
3. Clean up assets quickly
Removing backgrounds, extending canvases and upscaling product shots used to take an afternoon. They now take minutes, which leaves more time for the idea.
4. Write rough copy, edit hard
Use AI to get past the blank page, then rewrite in your own voice. Copy that reads like the first draft of a model is easy to spot, and your audience will spot it too.
5. Keep a brand guardrail
Lock your colors, fonts and logo rules before generating anything.
Reuse the same reference images so the look stays consistent.
Have a person approve everything before it goes live.
AI should make the work faster. It should not make it blander.
That is the balance we aim for: AI-accelerated production, with a real designer owning the strategy, the taste and the final quality.
