Unlimited graphic design: what you really get
Unlimited usually means unlimited requests, not unlimited output. Here is where the limits sit and how to test any plan.

"Unlimited graphic design" sounds like a blank cheque. It is not. Unlimited usually means unlimited requests. The real limit is how fast the work moves. Here is where that limit sits, and how to test any plan.
What unlimited graphic design actually means
You can ask for as much as you like. A designer can only finish so much in a day.
ManyPixels says this directly in its guide to unlimited design (dated 10 Oct 2025). There is no cap on requests, but "there is usually an expected daily output". It gives a benchmark of what one designer does in one working day, such as two or three social media graphics or one or two custom illustrations. It adds that you cannot expect endless finished designs because you are working with people, not robots. It also says revisions are included at no extra charge. Read it at ManyPixels.
That is a fair description, and it is the useful one. Unlimited describes the queue, not the speed.
Where the limit sits in each plan
| Vendor and plan | The real limit | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|
| ManyPixels, Advanced | 1 daily output, next-day delivery | $699 |
| ManyPixels, Business | 2 daily outputs, next-day delivery | $1,199 |
| Penji, Essentials | 2 active projects | $995 |
| Penji, Agency Partner | 3 active projects | $1,995 |
| Design Pickle | Scoped on a call | Not published |
| noondesk, Part-time designer | One request at a time, in your order | $1,774 |
| noondesk, Full-time designer | One request at a time, in your order | $3,774 |
Sources, read on 2026-10-29: ManyPixels pricing, Penji pricing (the page's structured data lists a modified date of 20 Aug 2026), and Design Pickle pricing, which says price is given on a call. Monthly billing prices shown. Each vendor sells what it prices. The noondesk rows are our own plans.
What that means in numbers
Take ManyPixels Advanced at one daily output. With 20 working days that is about 20 finished pieces a month. That is our arithmetic, not a vendor promise, and "output" is the vendor's word, so ask what counts as one.
Penji limits active projects instead: two on Essentials, three on Agency Partner.
The cost per piece depends entirely on how much you send. A plan that is cheap for six pieces a month is expensive for sixty.
Same plan, very different cost per piece
Here is an illustration of how volume changes the price you really pay. It is arithmetic, not a promise of output. On a $1,774 plan, 20 pieces in a month is $88.70 a piece ($1,774 ÷ 20). At 60 pieces it is $29.57 ($1,774 ÷ 60).
The lesson: compare plans by what you will actually send, not by the headline price. Unlimited is worth the most to teams with a steady, high volume of small requests.
It is worth the least if you send a few pieces a month. In that case a freelancer, or a smaller plan, may cost less.
How our version works
We do not cap requests, and we do not charge per request. You send as many as you like. We work them one at a time, in your priority order, so what matters most is done first.
A designer is matched within 24 hours. Work is typically back in 24 to 48 hours. Plans are month to month, flat, and you own everything, with source files included. A part-time designer is $1,774 a month and a full-time designer is $3,774 a month.
One designer works one request at a time. If you send forty things in a week, the order matters and the total hours still apply. We would rather tell you that than promise the impossible.
Six questions to ask any unlimited plan
How many requests can be in progress at once?
What counts as one output, and what counts as a revision?
Who sets the order of the queue?
Is the designer the same person each week?
What does it cost to pause or leave?
Do I get source files and full ownership in writing?
ManyPixels states a $10 monthly pause fee on its pricing page. Superside states an annual term on its pricing page (read 27 Oct 2026). Terms differ a lot, so read them.
Work out what you need first
Count the posts, ads, emails and decks you send in a normal month. Our design hours calculator turns that into hours and a likely plan. Then read what a design subscription costs in 2026 and what a design subscription is.
Want to see how it works in week one? Read how it works or book a call.
What we could not verify
We could not open Superside's or Design Pickle's pages for a definition of unlimited, so we do not describe their queue rules. Vendors change prices and terms without notice. The 20 pieces a month figure is our arithmetic.
